Day 376 - June 26 - Finally photos!

OK, the photo uploading problem has apparently cured itself, and I'm finally able to post the photos from the zoo trip that would go with the post from Day 372 ...

Joelle makes the sound of a giraffe - "Braaaaw" (while also holding your hand above your head to make the mouth - that's important) -

"Everybody point at the giraffes!"

Connor goes head-to-head with a silverback gorilla -

In an effort not to alarm anybody, Alan asks himself "Were we supposed to make a left turn at Albuquerque?"

We took turns being different animals -

Good friends, close family, all in one shot -

Don't ask...

JoƩlle at the prairie dog exhibit -

A good day!

Sorry I had to put these in a different post - but I thought you might like to see them.

What Eric means by the "photo problem 'cured itself'" is that I spent about an hour and a half recoding links in Blogger and the ConnorWatch Community and moving the blog to the new website.

I managed to forget them when we moved from ConnorWatch to The ConnorWatch Community (senior moment, no doubt), and despite that, the blog managed to keep up the illusion of functioning until it was photo upload time.

So, another hidden flaw discovered and corrected, and the ConnorWatch Community just keeps ticking along.

Until the next bug.

Let me know if something doesn't work right, and I'll get right on it.

Ultimately, it will either get better, get worse, or stay the same. There you go.

Thanks Brad.... I really wanted folks to see our "one year post accident", day at the zoo. I appreciate all the work you are doing and have done, and no doubt will be doing in the future. ;-)

Love you much, and hope we can see you and your family soon. Thanks again,

Cherie'bee

I officially apologize to Brad - I read the email he sent differently than he intended, and so thought that the "bug" had mysteriously disappeared. I'll try to read more carefully next time!

We owe you tons for your hard work, Brad!

Love ya, bro.

Great to see the pictures of the fun day! You guys make me laugh... And, yeah, God on the movement, time off the vent, etc!! Love to hear it!

I took a Trauma Core class this week and I know met some gals you all became very familiar with? Alice Evans, Kathleen Cagle (I think that was it; I actually didn't get to talk to her), and I'm going blank on the others right now. I'll think of them and should have written down their names. I updated them on Connor and they were so glad to hear what was going on!

Love and miss you all!

Kristie

No apology required, Eric, I know you have a lot more important issues to deal with.

I just knew that if I didn't forever want to remain the unsung hero I was going to have to start yodeling like an alpine school girl in a 'Sound of Music' audition.

I guess that makes me a 'sung' hero.

Yo-del-aaaa-eeeee-uuuuu!
