Day 323 - May 5 - Happy Birthday, Connor!

Today is Connor's 19th birthday! We celebrated with a birthday dinner in his honor - Ribeye steaks on the grill, potatoes and carrots glazed with sweet dill butter, salad with white balsamic dressing, garlic cheese toast, and tequila shots. OK, we didn't do the tequila, but other than that... 8-)

Of course, I suppose we could have, seeing as how it's Cinco de Mayo too.

But anyway, I forgot about the chocolate cake. Mmmm, chocolate cake!

So if you think about it, take a second to thank God that Connor is here to see his 19th birthday, and pray that his 20th will see him in a completely different condition when it rolls around.

Love y'all!

Eric

Happy Birthday dear Connor!

Words escape me right now how to express the great fondness I have grown to have for you and your family as we have traveled with you through this trial via this blog. I know that our PRAYERS are adequate, but words are just not at the moment.

God bless you and my prayer for you is that you continue to grow in your faith, in your perseverance and in your love for others. You, obviously, are loved by many. What a blessing, eh?

Happy Birthday!!

Happy 19 Connor!!! You may not remember me but I visited you in the hospital along with my brother, who has dreads, and another tall red headed guy. I've been praying for you ever since our youth group went to camp the same week as you did and will continue! I truly believe that Jesus has some AMAZING things in store for your life and I can't wait to see how He's going to use you (and I know He already is). I hope that you feel completely loved and blessed today Connor. : D

Happy birthday, Connor! I'm just a random from MI who was guided here by a friend who lives in CA. And, it just so happens I have a Connor. He's only three but I sure hope he has your faith and perseverance when he's 19. Here's to a new year with new beginnings and many, many blessings!

Very, very happy birthday Connor!!! Sorry I'm a day late - didn't get to the blog yesterday. Sounds like you had a good day...and an especially nice dinner. Now I need a steak! Thinking of you always. Lisa (& Buddy too).

Happy birthday, Connor. I know God has great plans for you in the year ahead!
May God continue to be a blessing to you and your family, just as the Lord's work in your life has blessed all of us and given us encouragement!

p.s. Sorry I am a "day late"--I'm usually a $ (or two) short, too. It may also mean that I am 363 days EARLY for your 20th b-day, too, just depending how you look at it. You will be able to blow out every candle next year, the Lord willing!
