Day 244 - February 13 - 911

OK, I fooled you. Maybe I should have saved this post for April 1, but I was reading this morning in Psalm 91. The first verse in that chapter says "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty". I thought to myself, "Self, now there's the place to be when the troubles come". And then I thought "I wonder if God is showing His sense of humor by making that verse's address 9-1-1?"

So then my curiousity got the better of me and I thought, "Wonder what Psalm 9:11 says..."

..."Sing praises to the LORD, who sits enthroned in Zion! Tell among the peoples his deeds!"

So OK, I get it. When I am in dire straits, call 911. It's in The Book...

That's great! I will have to remember that one.

Oh, and about your last post, asking for prayer? You can pretty much guarantee that I will be doing that. I am celebrating a birthday with my sister, and when I do that, I usually want a Pepsi! I am going to be avoiding it (doing okay, so far), but that is when I do my most praying for you all! :)

I know it sounds silly, but it really does help me avoid my "vice." I figured, knowing what you all go through, I am not really that bad off giving up what I enjoy very much.

I pray that God will give you a great and easy weekend! Hopefully, we will see you at church!

Praying you through the night and morning.

I did want to let you know that reading your blog helps me understand what my parents go through. I know they were upset about my accident/injury but didn't know how much. Please continue to be trnsperant with us so we can all help each other.
