Day 239 - February 8 - Another update
Well, we spent most of Saturday night either fighting low saturation or nausea - Connor began getting very sick to his stomach about 4 AM, and we spent the rest of the night either helping with that or dozing on the floor. We finally got him to sleep about 0700 and when he awoke about 1100 he was feeling a little better. Today he felt really poorly, and we were never able to get out of the house and away from the equipment we need to keep his lungs clear.
Needless to say, this day wore down us all, and we're a bit dispirited tonight. Weeping seemed to be the order of the evening, at least for me.
Nothing else to report, so I'll call it quits.
God, help us. Please.

I'm so sorry. I'll be praying for you all. Is there a chance that he could have somehow caught a flu bug?

I love you guys and are lifting you ALL in prayer. As my sobriety goes...one step forward, two steps back. I get a few of those forward emails and 99% of the time i delete them without even opening them...shame on me right? Well one caught my eye, the subject said balloons. I know it sounds quirky but when i miss my daddy alot, i write on an index card, buy a balloon from vons and send it up to Heaven. I know i know, sounds weird but even after 11yrs im still trying to find peace and if he gets my notes and i know he does, then a little piece of peace for me. Long story short, this email had a few things in it that brought tears to my eyes. Ive hurt so many people and have mand a mends to all but still have alot of work to do. i wanted to copy over some of what this said...
Life is too short to wake up with regrets. So love the people who treat you right. Forget about the ones who don't. Believe everything happens for a reason. If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands. If it changes your life, let it. Nobody said life would be easy, they just promised it would be worth it.
Family are like balloons; once you let them go, you might not get them back. Sometimes we get so busy with our own lives and problems that we may not even notice that we've let them fly away. Sometimes we are so caught up in who's right and who's wrong that we forget what's right and wrong. Sometimes we just don't realize what loved ones means until it is too late. I don't want to let that happen so I'm going to tie you to my heart so I never lose you.
Just a thought...buy some balloons, send them off to our Lord Jesus Christ with your wants and hopes and dreams and who knows, maybe he will catch it and see how much you need him right now.
I know i need him and we all know you all need him. This blog is the most wonderful thing that ive seen on the internet...along with the yellow pages...kidding. Hope i brought a smile to a much needed deserving family.
The Fellows family love you all and pray for you during grace every evening. I hope we will see Conner walk one day as everyone else on this blog.

Amazing Love! Our Strength and Hope! I praise Your name. Bless Connor tonight and touch his body, deliver him from this sickness and give him his body back. I pray for his thoughts, may they be held captive by You and nothing for the enemy. Fill him with your precious peace. Be with Eric & Cherie` and strengthen their weary bones.
