Day 125 - October 18 - Photos - Homecoming

A few photos from when Connor arrived home the other night...

And a few from this evening...

Our second full day at home went a bit better than the first. We had Connor's wheelchair so he was able to get out of bed, and one of his best friends spent some much needed "chillin'" time with Connor. They laughed and watched movies and goofed off, and the boy's spirits were really raised because of her visit.

We haven't figured out what schedule we need to run yet, but I'm sure we'll be hollering for help as we get adjusted. I know there are many who have volunteered to help out. I'd say the chance of you getting a phone call this week is pretty good!

I'm sorry - I fell asleep at the computer and about 15 minutes have gone by since I typed (most) of that last sentence. I faded out right after "...a phone call" - but it looked a lot more like "ariuahbue.c rudsah " than anything else. Who says I can't do this blog thing in my sleep? 8-)

I'll try to post some photos of the current phase of construction tomorrow morning...

They say a picture is like a thousand words... or something to that effect.
It looks as though getting Connor moved home was quite a 'doing' but home he is!! Praise GOD.
Is that a beard Connor is sporting?
Looking good, guy.
Thanks for the pictures - so we can all 'see' what's going on.
GOD bless and good night.

Good Morning and Praise God for a beautiful homecoming and time with his friends for Connor.

As Shayne said, "A picture is worth a thousand words" to see the joy in Connor's face and the genuine love and friends family!

May our Lord continue to bless and shower His immense Grace on all of you.

Your coming home photos posted for today are quite emotional for me.
Can't take it all in. You have opened a door for all of us to the world of Roller Coaster rides and Big Challenges, and a Faith walk that is not just talk, but lived out. Now, as you find yourselves all together again, I pray that God Blesses you abundantly and that you feel His lavish love. As you continue to "wait on the Lord" I pray that your energy is renewed everyday and in all our human weakness you experience God's might power and strength.

You are always in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Eric and family:

Those pictures are so moving. Thank you so much for taking the time to post each day and keep us updated. I'm sure there are times it is a burden, but you diligently persist and we are grateful. There is not a day that goes by that Connor is not on my mind and heart.

Praying for Connor's full restoration.

Blessings,

Lynne Piper and family

Eric, thank you so much for the pictures - especially the one of Connor's big, hearty laugh!

So many changes to adjust to, so many emotions to sort through, not just for Connor but for all of you. We are praying for each of you every day.

May God be at the center of your daily activities.

In His Love,

Ok, those pictures put an exclamation point to the closing of a great day for us! Connor, your smile is awesome! I love the camo poncho...very stylish and cozy! Welcome home Connor. Our prayer is that you continue toward COMPLETE physical restoration and that someday, someday soon, your scare where your trach once was will be the beginning of a story to tell others how God does amazing work.

We miss you at Eastside and hope to see you there one day with conner so we can all see in person who we have been praying for and he can see whos been praying for him. Theres no place like home is there. We love you all, The Fellows Clan, Fresno.
