Day 108 - October 1 - Connor's Thoughts
OK, all of us were sitting in Connor's room just now, singing along to the words of Barlow Girl's "Never Alone" (Joelle just told me not to tell you that, because "Connor will lose his masculinity" 8-D )(to which Connor said "I don't care - I'm going to play this for you, and you can sing it"). Anyway, when we had finished with the song, Connor said "You know, in the back of my mind, I always thought that God didn't want me to have the pacer anyway. So many people have been praying that I would breathe apart from the pacer, so why worry?"
Sorry, I just had to stop and blog that. Like usual, Connor displays a greater understanding of God's provision than I.

Connor you make us smile!
You gotta love a guy that is confident in his masculinity!
Continue to hear His voice above all others.....He loves you and so do we.

Completely gobsmacked here.
Connor, I'm humbled and inspired by your faith.
And that's all I've got to say about that.

Atta boy Connor!! Great attitude and obviously you have it all in the right perspective. You are such a good, spiritual role model for so many of us.
Your Uncle Brad said to expect God to do something big. And that's true. It's the way we should all be living - with the expectation of good things God is going to do.
Rest well and keep singing!
In His Love,

Connor -- I'd like to share a new song...your faith is awe-inspiring!
Downhere - Here I Am
From the album Ending Is Beginning
Sometimes Your calling
comes in dream
Sometimes in comes
in the Spirit's breeze
You reach for the
deepest hope in me
And call out for the things of eternity
But I'm a man, of dust and stains,
You move in me, so I can say
Chorus
Here I am, Lord send me
All of my life, I make an offering,
Here I am, Lord send me
Somehow my story
is a part of Your plan,
Here I am
When setbacks and failures, and upset plans
Test my faith and leave me with empty hands
Are You not the closest when it's hardest to stand
I know that You will finish what You began
And these broken parts
You will redeem
Become the song that I can sing
Chorus
Overwhelmed by
the thought of my weakness
And the fear that I'll fail You
in the end
In this mess,
I'm just one of the pieces,
I can't put this together
but You can
Chorus
Here I Am, all my life an offering to You, to You
Somehow my story
is a part of Your plan
Here I am
Connor, you have such an amazing outlook on God! Maybe we all should listen to our "guts".
You are an encouragement me, Connor!
You know what, I felt the same thing. I prayed and didn't want to acknowledge what I was feeling. I tried to "push" the feeling away. He has more in store for you Connor. We have experienced a miracle in our family when we were young and finding our faith. Someday we will tell you the story. But now.. know He doesn't even have to speak it; it just will be. He is risen just as He said. He is. It will be. I feel it. We are here praying for you without ceasing. Sleep tight Williamsons, we love you..........
Thank you Anonymous, the song you sent is beautiful I love the words.
Connor, my heart is so blessed and smiling, it is you, that holds our arms up :)IM speechless.
I love you O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock. my fortress, and my deliverer, my God is my rock in whom I take refuge. He is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
Praying without ceasing in Downey
May our Lord continue to bless you dear sweet Connor. You are an inspiration to us all. He is continuing to perfect you in all His ways and what a privilege it is to watch His many miracles unfolding in your life. Have a grace filled restful night in God's loving protection.
Alright Connor! Way to keep your chin up dude! Hoping to hear more from you in the future.
