Day 87 - September 10 - A quick prayer need

Briefly, Cherie has developed some sort of bronchial infection and/or cough. We would appreciate your prayers that she would quickly be rid of this thing, and that it would not spread to the rest of us - particularly Connor. Thank you for your help in this. She is devoted to being with her son, so you can imagine the challenge and the concern.

Blessings Cherie, I pray that your Father in heaven who is the best Friend anyone could have will be to you like He is to my single and widowed friends, He is their husband and He will be your husband while Eric is away He knows your needs before they even become needs or even thoughts 8-)
Dear heavenly Faithful Father and Friend, we lift Cherie up to you this morning, we ask for health, healing, strength, wisdom, discernment, trust, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control, All of these things are good and pleasing to you dear Lord we pray for an overflowing in Cherie's spirit today, please restore and strengthen her and take away all infection from her body, quickly that she will be able to get the rest she needs so she can sit by Connor's side and encourage and minister to him, in Jesus name we pray.
Let... Thy mericful kindness be for my comfort, according to Thy Word unto thy servant.
Psalm 119:76
Grieve not at thy lot, be not discontented, look not out at the hardness of thy condition; but look to Him who can give meekness and patience, can lift up thy head, and cause thy life to grow.
I. Penington

I wish there were some way I could explain about worry and anxiety??
When Debbie went through so much I would do like Cherie and feel so hopless, now each time she goes through set backs or actually any situtation or trial we go through we always tend to react but IM learning to look back over all we've come through and realize, HEY, we made it no amount of worry or anxiousness changed it, it's true with every life everyone you watch you see how helpless we are so we Trust in God who knows the beginning from the end, He is in total control and His desire for you is, Perfect Peace. Loving you from Downey and wishing it was easier to say what IM thinking and what we've been through and that even if I could explain it perfectly that it would help in some way, I think you just have to go through it and as you do, step by step you will grow stronger each trial will start taking on a different meaning, IM sorry I just can't explain myself just remember the Lord wants us to get to that place where no matter what happens we know He is in control and He will lead us through anything He allows in our lives, it's all to grow Godly Character in us. Something I learned in a glass IM taking on suffering is to be joyful in the suffering and to walk through it without stopping I was taught that sometimes we tend to set up camp get out our sleeping bags and all of our camping equipment and hang out there like the Israelites did instead of walking through quickly trusting God we tend to hang out which just extends our suffering so please keep moving through it Trusting our Father and Friend, IM getting my F's in again
Praying for more miracles today
Lord Bless and Keep you all!

May the Lord of peace Himself give you peace at all times and in every way.

Hi Cherie - sorry to hear you've picked up a bug. Certainly couldn't have anything to do with lack of sleep, stress, or the like?? Hang in there. Hope you can get some rest and see a speedy recovery.

Cherie,

Praying for your health. It's so hard to be a sick mom, but in your case, it's magnified a hundered fold! Praying for you to rest and heal quickly.

Eric,
Praying for you as you go back to work. It must feel like you're swimming against the tide - wanting to be with your family, but needing your job as well.

Connor,
Praying as you adjust to all the new things you are experiencing and that the tests come back negative. You are in our thoughts and prayers so often throughout the day.

God is our HOME - He's our harbor and haven of rest - the place where we live and rest. We can relax and let our hair down - He's the place where we can be who we really are and be accepted for who we really are. HOME is Where the Heart is and our hearts are in God.

Praying that you are at HOME in God today and tomorrow and the day after that...

God bless you all during this time of great trial - my prayers are with each of you.
