Day 76 - August 30 - Sickness...
Cherié awoke this morning nearly unable to stand up, she was so weak and wobbly. She thinks she may be getting a sinus infection, leaving her with a consistent headache and a lot of dizziness. She says she feels very unstable. It might also be that she's completely exhausted...
God is good in that He's bringing us back to our house, close to friends and resources who can help spell us if she gets sick. But we are asking for your prayers that God would sustain her through this weekend and see her back to Morgan Hill without any health issues. He has sustained us thus far; we trust He will continue to do so.
One of you reminded me that I hadn't given an update about how my mornings were going. Your prayers are being effective - I still wake up between 4 and 5 unable to go back to sleep, but I have not been waking in terror and despair. For that I thank you, and I thank God.
We're on our way over to the hospital shortly - please be praying that Connor will be encouraged today. We fear he may have a "downer" after being outside yesterday, so we are praying that we might have the right words to bring hope and encouragement to him as we work to keep him healthy for his move next week.

Please tell Connor that his
half-step-Grannie-in-law from Arkansas was thrilled beyond words to see his smiling face OUTSIDE!!!
Yesterdays news was wonderful!!
Cherie, try to get some rest today. You know if your Mom was there, she would make you stay in bed today. Right, Grannie P?
All of you take care. Grannie B

Cherie,
You poor thing! I'm so sorry that you're feeling so horrible. I know that you're physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually exhausted. For sure and for certain that has made you more susceptible to this illness. Can you rest today and let Eric and Joelle look after Connor? All right, well, let's look at the bright side! You're at a hospital. Can they give you a decongestant and some antibiotics? I will be praying for you to feel better very soon and for Connor not to be down today after yesterday's exciting outing. Cherie, you are my hero...you are so strong and unselfish. You hold everyone and everything together. May God give you an extra portion of peace and grant you rest today. I love you.

Yesterday, before we read the post on Valley Medical, our family prayed that God would give you some sense of direction of where you were supposed to go. It was so incredible and such a blessing to log on last night and find out that prayer had been answered. We know you added the word "tentative" but we are praising God for this!!
Chérie, just hoping and praying that you are feeling better now than you were when Eric posted this morning. "Be it ever so humble, there's no place like home." You're almost there!! Eric acknowledged that God had sustained you this far. Trusting along with you that He will do so throughout this weekend.
We love all of you.

I hope Cherie is feeling better -- it's easy to get run down when you are the caregiver. Love to you & thanks for sharing the great news about Connor's potential move. We are excited & praying for you. Cheryl
