Day 65 - August 19 - Midnight

I just got to the hospital after receiving a call at the RV - they have decided it is time to move Connor. Yes, it's midnight, but apparently they need his bed and a step-down bed has become available, so here we go.

They're here. We're off to room 1001. Gotta go...

I don't know how long we'll be in this room - hopefully not long.

Yes it is awesome! God is on the move in Connor's life; even in the middle of the night!

Wow! Midnight? That must have startled you. Praying that it all goes smoothly.

Yet another step on this long journey. One that will eventually bring you all much closer to home and as we pray daily, Connor, a step closer to restoration of his body.

In Christ,

Claudia

That's wonderful news, but I think had I gotten the call a midnight I would have almost had a heart attack!

Hopefully this will be a big step in lifting Connor's spirits. Praying that in the near future he walks out of there.

From experience, the step down unit was a positive step and not so dreary!

Thought I would share the KLOVE verse of the day with you!

What is impossible for people is possible with God.

~ Luke 18:27, NLT

Conner, we pray for you everyday. If I somehow forget, my boys, Mason and Malcolm (8 & 10 and both flaming redheads) remind me. It is amazing the hearts of kids!

I specifically pray for your heart. May it stay strong and focused on God. I pray you keep seeking him in every corner of your mind. I pray you find comfort in His everlasting love and know NOTHING is impossible with God! Keep the faith young man!
Amen

Yeah, God!! We are excited about the move to Step-down and I know the staff there will be great. Wade or I (or both!) want to make it up to see you today as I ended up not working.

Yesterday in the car our 5 year old, Ethan, prayed, "God, heal Connor." He also wants to tell Connor right now, "I love you and I hope you feel good." When we come I'll bring a picture of the Robinson family so that Connor can see the kids praying for him regularly. All of them are thinking of you, Connor.

We love you all and see you soon,

Kristie

Amen for stepping down Connor! So odd how we are praising things that normally are "negative" ex. pain for our children, asking for and giving a western bacon cheeseburger (with glee!) and stepping down.

He is a good God!!!!

As always,
(the now baptized)Michawn

Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father;
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not;
As Thou hast been, Thou forever will be.

Great is Thy faithfulness!
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see.
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided;
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!

Summer and winter and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.

Great is Thy faithfulness!
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see.
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided;
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!

Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand and ten beside!

R E J O I C I N G W I T H Y O U.

And congratulations to MICHAWN on your following Jesus in water baptism!

Expecting great things,

Renée
