Day 59 - August 13 - His prayer request

I asked the boy what we could pray for as we lift him up. He told me "general prayer". I asked him if he meant for his healing, attitude, hope and faith, and he gave a sort of "well, that too" answer. I took that to mean that he desires prayer in every aspect - so Connor fervently longs for your prayer support.

He had a really good day today; you could really tell that people were praying for him. He had a much calmer and peaceful demeanor, and he was trying to do things. No panic attacks, and he went to sleep tonight without medication. He also had a #2 from In and Out for lunch (with Dr Pepper, of course...) and Maui Zowie pizza for dinner. Who says hospital food is terrible? 8-)

Thank you so much for your continued prayers for him, in particularly against the despair he's battling. It works!

Love you all!

Eric

I am with Evalena....always thinking as a mother and when you said #2 !! WELL, I thought we are "family now and must celebrate in ALL things," I suppose we asked for it after all these questions.

Next time just let us know where the food is from, then the #.
We are so glad he got a tasty dinner and some fun girlies came to visit him. How can any guy be grumpy with sweet girls in the room.

Hope Thursday is as wonderful for the whole family!

Still laughing in

Connor,

I have not yet met anyone who drinks Dr. Pepper as his/her first choice who I don't like.

Dr. Pepper is the best!

I'm glad you are able to eat and drink now.

I continue to pray at least daily for you as well as the rest of your family.

Love,

Lorrie Layman

#2 is the BEST! I'll disagree with the drink but oh well! Good for you Connor! Keep it up!
