Day 53 - August 7 - And a Prayer Request

Oops, forgot one prayer request. Connor's white blood count is back up to 12000. 10-11K is considered normal, and his has been floating between 9-10 for the last few days, but now it's climbing again. As you know, rising white blood counts are indicative of infection, so we are praying fervently that he is sealed against any illness, particularly pneumonia. Please pray that the Lord would protect his lungs and preserve the boy's hard-won ability to eat, drink and speak.

Gracious Father,
Thank You for this beautiful day and for all the blessings big and small. I praise You for the 3 blessings to lift Connor's spirits today. Biblical meaning for 3 is the Trinity...Father, Son, and Holy Spirit...thank You for ministering to Your precious child Connor tonight. I praise You for prayer warriors. Those warriors also who go the extra mile...traveling warriors who visit at any given time...friends who care enough to give their very best...servants who serve no matter what. I praise You for the body of Christ and how we come together to help and pray and lift up the other. Bless Connor tonight I pray with sweet, precious, healing sleep. I praise You for the ways in which You care for Your children. Thank You for laughter, for tears, for happiness, and for sadness...for all things are of You and we praise You for that. Bless Joelle tonight, comfort her precious heart as she helps care for her brother. I pray that she would be encouraged and strengthened by the good news of today. What a precious family Lord, bless them all mightily. I ask these things in the precious name of Jesus. Amen

In our life Lord, be glorified, be glorified.
In our life Lord, be glorified today!

Greater is He that is in me,
Greater is He that is in me,
Greater is He that is in me,
than he that is in the world!

My God shall supply all my need.

A Mighty Fortress is our God, and Ever-present Help in times of trouble. Our Deliverer, our Prince of Peace, Mighty God, Awesome Lord.

Praise be to the King of kings and the Lord of lords!

Love you guys, I'm praising the Lord with you and continually praying.

i find myself struggling to sleep. but instead of reading to lull me to sleep, i tune into the Church of Connor.

Blessed be your name dear Lord. Our heavenly father and protector of all creation. Mold us an make us your finest creation. Hold us in your loving arms and give us rest.
Thank you and praise to you oh, mighty warrior who came before us and shows us the way to live...how to live for you, for ourselves and for our brothers and sisters.

Holy Spirit give Connor, Joelle, Eric and Cherie the continued support they need to continue this battle. We believe in your power and your wisdom of time to bring about a healing of body and spirit. you have blessed us beyond measure these past days and we thank you for all of it. we count it all JOY and we continue to praise you.

Blessed by the name of Jesus. Blessed by his holy name.

Amen.

Just a thought...

Connor is on much medication for pain, etc. These in themselves will 'depress' not only the pain and your system but your emotions, too.
Once Connor is off the meds, that cloud will lift.
Praying, as always, for Connor's healing.
