Day 42 - July 27 - Standing by

Connor spent the night sleeping, for which we are grateful. The nurse said that the boy is still tired and wanting to sleep, so that's what we're letting him do. We're going to church this morning while Granny holds the fort with Connor.

We're excited about what today holds. With so many of you fasting and praying, we're confident that God will hear our prayers and respond. Please join us today in lifting Connor up for healing and restoration.

Hebrews 13:15 - Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

The pastor of Calvary Chapel Bible Fellowship, Temecula,Ca is preaching today on Matthew 9, Rise and walk. I thought you might want to listen to his sermon. He also has a couple of guests from Israel. You can listen to the sermon live via www.ccbf.net. There is a sermon at 9:30, 11:15, and 6:30. May God be magnified!Looking to Jesus for Connor!

His love, it endureth,
His love, it endureth,
His love, it endureth,
Forever, and ever. Amen

I will sing of His praise, forever.
I will tell of His mercies always,
He has called me and showed me, How to share His love,
I will praise Him, forever, Amen.

His love, it endureth,
His love, it endureth,
His love, it endureth,
Forever, and ever. Amen

Won’t you join me, let us worship.
Raise your hands, and call upon His name.
He is standing, and waiting, for you to let Him in,
Hold His hand and walk in His ways.

Oh, His love, it endureth,
Oh, His love, it endureth,
Oh, His love, it endureth,
Forever, and ever. Amen

Let’s just praise Him, Hallelujah.
Raise our hands, oh, in praise.
Touch the hem, of His garment, He will provide,
He will provide.

For His love, it endureth,
His love, it endureth,
His love, it endureth,
Forever, and ever. Amen

These are words the Lord had me pen in 2003 as a song reminding me of His love for us and that it lasts forever, through good and bad times. It reminds me to worship and praise Him even when it seems He's not working. Because behind every detail is a purpose and we trust God is in control and aware of our circumstances.

May the peace of God fill Your cups to overflowing today! Love you much.

Dear Williamsons,

Connor has been on our minds, in our hearts and in our prayers since we awoke this morning. We are requesting God's hand to minister to each and every request you've shared with us, as well as touching each of you in a very real way today.

What wonderful news about Vanessa and we are praying for healing for Connor as well.

We're still here in Gilroy, checking on you daily and lifting your needs up to the Lord in prayer.
Sandi

What an uplifting story about Vanessa! Thank you for sharing it with us.

After church today I was contemplating the whole purpose and privilege of fasting. I was struck with the knowledge that it is GOD who calls us to salvation, GOD who draws us to prayer, GOD who brings us to fasting, GOD who is our every breath. As we pursue our praying and fasting for Connor, I pray that we will not fail to acknowledge that the One who draws us is the same One who works all things together for good for those who love Him.
