Day 33 - July 18 - More needs
Connor appears to be in the throes of pneumonia again. His white count has skyrocketed, they have started him on antibiotics again, and they've placed his respirator back on the old settings at 100% O2 in order to try to catch it before they have to put him on the beds again.
Connor is dispirited by the prospect of getting back on the beds. Please pray for his deliverance from them.

"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest."
Matt 11:28
Lord, grant this family rest today. We pray for Connor's lungs that he will respond to the oxygen and antiobiotics and that the use of the beds will be unnecessary. Lord, let them know You are there.
In Jesus' name we pray.
Amen
Eric,
My first reaction to this is ANGER! But no matter how I "feel" I "know" that satan is more angry that I am. That's why he's fighting so hard against any gain for God's Kingdom through this. The breakthrough you had this morning was a HUGE defeat for that slimeball. And I "know" that God has the upper Hand in all of this. I come against this attack on Connor's lungs in the Mighty Name of Jesus!
Your prayer warriors are storming the gates of Heaven and Hell. What is bound on earth is bound in Heaven. What is loosened on earth is loosened in Heaven. We take authority, in the name of Jesus, over satan's attack and bring every rebellious cell in Connor's body under the precious blood of Jesus Christ.
Expecting great things!
Renée
We are praying for Conner's lungs to be clear of infection and congestion, and that he is able to breath in fresh air on his own. No more "torture" beds and no more resperators for Connor Lord God. We pray that Conner's heart become strong and steady, and that he be able to rest and regain health.
Lord God, we ask you to give this family some good news about their beloved son. They are all your children, and they are faithful.
Thank you Lord God for your mercy and your grace.
Amen
Praying, praying, praying for you all!
Much love from Va.
I'm so sorry to read that Connor is battling pneumonia again. After so many steps forward, every little setback just seems devastating.
Praying for all kinds of strength for you all - physical, mental and spiritual, especially for Connor to fight off the infection, and for his lungs to clear so he'll be able to stay in the regular bed.
Checking in again. Expecting a miracle... Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ. May I ask you to seek God's Heart and see if He is calling you to fast (something) for Connor's lungs and heart right now? I feel guilty sometimes, that I receive so much from the invitation to journey with Connor and his family through this GOD THING, that has been placed on them. If Connor can lay his life down to benefit "one person", can we not ramp up our dedication to prayer? To give up a meal, TV, coffee, or eating entirely for a given time? This is something the Lord will direct us to do, not me.
The Battle is intensifying, let us pour out ourselves to have more room in our spirits, bodies and mind for His Will to be done! In other words, let's Kick It Up A Notch!!!
Your Sister in Christ,
Renée
Hi Eric and family,
As I have checked the blogs during the normal things of work and the day's commitments, I have been praying continually for Connor's recovery, while claiming Psalm 40 for God's sustaining power for all. I want to conitinue to ask the Lord if He would have us fast, as Renee suggested, and that may be laid on my heart as I spend more time committing your needs for Connor to the Lord. As we seek God's answer, I am confident that He will be glorified in all your desire to testify to His grace and might. As a mother of two sons about the same age as your two, my heart and prayers are continuing all the more for God's comfort and healing, if possible without the bed, and deliverance from Pneumonia. Our family will keep believing, through faith, in our Almighty Father's loving arms for you all.
Williamsons,
It was such a blessing to spend a little time with you today. Praise God for the title of your post! :)We will be praying for you, for Connor, and for his medical team as we travel home.
And I completely concur with the proposed plan for fasting. I was actually thinking of proposing it for the San Jose West Hills get together we're putting together at our house this coming Sunday (if you're from San Jose and a West Hiller and think you've been left out, you haven't, I just haven't been able to send the invite and will do so tomorrow morning first thing!). So this has settled it for me - we will fast and pray for Connor this Sunday.
Eric, hold fast. We are trusting the Lord for you. He has not left you or forsaken you; we won't either.
Blessings, brother.
Psalm 145:14
The Lord helps the fallen and lifts those bent beneath their loads.
Fasting and praying,
In Downey
I've been contemplating and praying about fasting since last weekend. I was planning it for this Sunday so looks like I'm in accord with several other believers.
I don't need to leave my name. I just wanted y'all to know that I'll be fasting and praying this Sunday.
