Day 31 - July 16 - All (mostly) Quiet on the Midwestern Front
Thanks to everyone that prayed for and continues to prayer for the rest of us Williamsons out here in Michigan and Virginia, as we deal with our own skirmishes in the spiritual battle that rages.
Beck checked in this morning, and reported that the rest of the night passed without disturbance, though he did not sleep well. This is the first encounter with the dark side of the spiritual world that Beck has had to deal with that I am aware of, and I am proud of his response under fire. He prayed, and he called for help, and it is a great reminder to each of us when we find ourselves in the same situation.
Haven't heard from 11 year old Keely at Center Lake Bible Camp in upstate Michigan, or from 18 year old Tierney in Romania, so I'm trusting that the attack was not coordinated.
Please keep the rest of the Williamson clan outside California in your prayers as well.
Thanks for letting us be part of a community where we can share these concerns.

My name is Mark and I've been a friend of Eric's for I forget how long.Back in the Kingsmen ministry days in Morgan Hill.
One of the things I took away from that experiance was the fact that I know the power of prayer works.Asking for Gods intervention is the most powerful weapon known to mankind.
Another thing I took with me from that powerful ministry is that I've got guys watching my back.I need only make a phone call and weapons are brought to bear against the enemy.
Be advised that we've got your back.

Thank you Brad, and all the Williamson family, for sharing these experiences with us. I am learning from this just how we can call on the Lord when we are faced with such experiences that are clearly evil.
I am praying for Conner and for his parents and all the family who are traveling this uncertain road with Conner. I cannot say loud enough just how it is helping me grown my own faith and to never give up.

Somewhere in the earlier days of this blog, there was discussion of the enemy and our collective arming with spiritual armor against the dark spiritual attacks on Eric, Cherie, Joelle & Connor.
Once again, we must polish up our armor, and pray for the entire Williamson family....The enemy will attack with despair, fear, anger, discord, anywhere he can, along all the branches of the family tree. But our literal world of prayer warriors are linked by our undying trust in HE WHO SAVES AND IS GOOD... (and linked by this outstanding website, thanks to Brad & Kent).
We stand between the dark side and the entire Williamson family as a Christian army of believers in the ONE TRUE GOD, and His son, Jesus Christ.
A few nights ago I was overwhelmed by a feeling of darkness, like something evil was watching me. Terrified, and having difficulty sleeping, I opened my bible to Psalm 4 - where I had last left the ribbon marker.
The verse I found most encouraging was verse 8 - "I will both lie down in peace, and sleep; for You alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety." Clutching my bible, I fell asleep reciting that verse to myself, knowing the Lord was protecting me.
I'll be praying for Beck and his friend.
