Day 28 - July 13 - "Thank you"

As we spoke with Connor today, we asked him specifically if there was anything we could pass on to the many, many people who are reading this blog, praying for him and for us, and encouraging all of us.

He silently mouthed "Thank you".

Thank you, Connor
The Lord says pray without ceasing and look what it takes to get all these saints to do just that, sigh!
It's like we have a revival going here and my prayer is when the Lord restores you, that the revival will continue that God's people will continue lifting praises, petitions and thanksgiving up to the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings, Amen!
Thank you Connor for allowing us to take this amazing faith journey with you, we are all so blessed.

Hi. This is Charlene in Albany, Oregon. Add us to the list too.
You have all been an inspiration to me. We are friends with some people who are also friends of some of your family. I was reading in my devotions this morning and this quoute from Oswald Chambers spoke to me. It goes like this: "Faith is deliberate confidence in the character of God whose ways you may not understand at the time." Oh how hard that is at times!

Isn't God amazing? I am in awe of His Grace to you, your family, & to all of those uplifting you in prayer, united for one purpose...to encourage, to uplift others & even in the mist of the storm, to Praise Him.
For me, as well as for many others, I didnt get a chance to spend anytime with my brother after his accident 20 yrs ago. To have had even one more day with him, to share our love for each
other,it wasn't to be.
So each & every moment you have with your family is precious.
So, thank you, for your encouragement to us, for sharing your faith, your fears, your heartache. We continue to lift you all up & for strength, healing & restoration!
"We wait in hope for the Lord, He is our help & our shield. In Him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in His Holy Name. May Your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord, even as we put our hope in You." Psalms 33:20-22

Connor,
We are honored and have been very blessed by your amazing family. Your unity and support you have given each other has been amazing. Oh the joy of having a large loving family!

We will continue to pray for you and all your family here in Ca. and those who are out of state.

You are an inspiration for many and we will continue to lift you up to God that He may use you far beyond our dreams and hopes. You continue fighting and we will continue being here for you. As one wise young man said yesterday we are your army of prayer warrior and you are leading us in this battle for your health.

We will keep our ears and eyes open to what you need from us and our prayers will not continue to flow both day and night!

Awestruck family in Morgan Hill ;-)

Isn't it amazing how many people from all over the world are praying for you, Connor? I hope you realize that you are ministering to so many people during this time. I just know that God has some very special plans for you! I login several times a day to not only get updates, but to pray for you. I put your picture in front of me and then I ask our gracious God to wrap His loving arms around you and hold you safe. Our God is good! I hope you have received the handmade cards from the kids in our CIA class at church. I know it isn't much, but it was something that they all wanted to do. They pray for you daily also. Keep that beautiful smile going, and just know that you are loved by so many. I pray that today is a good day for you as well as for your family. God bless each and every one of you.

Connor says "thank you". It is all of us who should be saying thank you. Thank you for allowing us to see inside the heart and soul of an amazing family!! Thank you for sharing your heartache, and your cautious joy at tiny little triumphs. Thank you for showing us the true meaning of faith. It is my priviledge to know and love you all and to offer up whatever I can for your continued strength and well being. I'm happy to be an Arkansas representative of the legions sending prayer your way. Please add Norfork, AR to the list. Grannie Bonnie

I received the following email this morning from yet another prayer warrior:

From: Cindy
Subject: Connor Watch: List of prayer warriors
Date: Monday, July 14, 2008, 9:42 AM

Jenann,
My name is Cindy and I would like to add my church and prayer chain to Connor's list. I'm a secretary for a church in Rogue River OR, my daughter asked if I would place the very first prayer request on our prayer chain. Not only the prayer chain prays for Conner but the whole church of 250 is now praying for Conner and the family.

...I'm inspired by what alot of people who post have to say in response to Eric's post.

Thanks again,
Cindy Warren
(Lindsey Spiegel (Warren) is my daughter you might know her, she was very involved with the West Hills Youth Group many years ago.)

Rogue Valley Community Church
Rogue River OR

****************************
Thanks Cindy! In addition, Kathy Silva's sister in Mill Creek, WA and her parents in Tulare, CA are also praying for Connor and the rest of the family.

Norfolk, AK
Moline, IL
Albany, OR

You've also been added to The List!
Thanks for letting me know!

Williamsons, be encouraged! The prayer net is getting bigger and bigger!

To God be the glory! Amen.

Jenann

Hi Jenann,
Our family has been praying without ceasing in Hollister, and I'm sure many in our church, Grace Bible Church, are also. We are good friends with the Cheadle family also, and we have been encouraged to not lose heart by pastor Christian who has been providing ministry help this month.
Please add our church to your list, and we count it a blessing to battle through this, in faith, with Connor and his family.
