Day 27 - July 12 - Here Comes Mom!
I drove my Mom to Dulles airport this morning where she boarded a plane for California. I got a call from her a bit ago letting me know that she arrived in San Jose and that Eric's good friend Jeff had picked her up and was driving her to Fresno (3 hours???).Yes, I know, they have an airport in Fresno, but it's a mom thing... if you've got a mom (at least one like ours) then you probably understand. ;-) (love you mucho, Mom!)
Anyhow, she should be arriving in Fresno before long and I'm sure it will be a good long hug with Eric & Cherié. Pray for her visit. She bought a one way ticket so she can stay as long as she needs. Also, pray for Dad back here in Virginia as he holds down the fort.
Thanks,
Kent

This is such a precious picture. The love between them is so evident and a great model for us all. She will bring support and encouragement like only moms and grandmas can.
Isaiah 40:31 Yet those who wait for the LORD
Will gain new strength;
They will mount up with wings like eagles,
They will run and not get tired,
They will walk and not become weary.
Continuing to pray,
Christian and Alice

So glad that more family is coming to support you! We have enjoyed meeting everyone so far. You have been on our minds, hearts and in our prayers. Even though it's been just a couple of days, it seems like forever since we've seen you. I'm praying you're holding fast and keeping your eyes on Jesus. And, Father, clear out Connor's lungs and restore lung capacity!!!

You have an amazing family and we serve such an incredible God. Just wanted to let you know we are continuing to lift your family up in prayer. Each day my children ask for an update on Connor. Kimberly for the Wells
