Day 25 - July 10 - RV Situation Under Control

First, thanks so much to everyone who responded with offers to help, loan trailers and RVs, arrange towing, repair, arrange repairs, pay for repairs, and everything else short of Fedexing the beast down to Fresno. The hard part of my job was keeping track of it all, second only to telling everyone that didn't get picked to help that the issue has been resolved.

The RV is being moved to a repair shop where the mechanical issues will be resolved today and tomorrow so that Eric can move it to Fresno on Saturday. Thank you Dave and Jeff for taking care of this. We don't yet know what the repairs will cost, and while we do have money in the ConnorWatch benefit account, we'll let you know if there is something specific you can do.

Eric is honored that so many of the ConnorWatch community would volunteer to take care of a situation that to him does not seem to be related to Connor at all. He was touched as I explained the outpouring of response, and is coming to recognize that this is something we need to be doing. So many of you are eager to help, and I'm grateful that you are willing to leap at the opportunities. You honor God and you honor Eric with your willingness to share.

So the kingdom will not be lost for the want of a nail, or a horse, or even a thermostat. Thanks for responding. I'll try to respond to each individual offer as quickly as I can, and will continue to alert you of opportunities for you to be of service.

Brad

Anything that makes this burden even minutely more bearable for Eric, Cherié, and Joélle IS related to Connor. I can totally relate to Cherié needing her "space" and am praising God that it's on the way!!!

Praise God! It is amazing how God works through others. May we all remember to thank these people along with God for his grace through others kind acts.

God is SO good!
I have yet to cease to be amazed at what is taking place in the lives of people affected by the wonderful Williamson family. Not only is my faith in God renewed daily, but also in people as well. Feeling a bit guilty at times for 'just being on the sidelines', I know God has placed everyone right where He wants them for a reason. Thanks for helping to man this great site, Brad, you are doing a fantastic job. God bless you guys.

Thank you Dave and Jeff for taking care of this need. It's awesome to see God's people respond so quickly to take care of needs in such a practical way. Indeed, you're demonstrating what we've been commanded to do by God.

John 13: 34-35 "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."

1 John 4:7 "Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God."

Thanks, again.

Just to give everyone a quick update... I just got home from work and pulled onto the court and the RV is already on it's way to the mechanic!
Thank you Dave and Jeff for not only being willing and able to help, but for doing it so quickly!
God bless you both!
Kim

You only need know the left coast Williamson's a short while to understand that they would be first in line to assist any one who might be going through trauma.
As a matter of fact,it need not be a trauma.Say you had a flat tire,I'm sure Eric would call into work "sick" just to help you change it.Right, Eric?
Enjoyed the lunch today (thanks Jeff S.)and know this...anything,anytime.I love you as a brother.

So glad to hear the good news. It sounds like a great thing for the family to have a home away from home! Isn't God good!
I'm just curious how is Connor's day going? I'm praying he is stable and decently comfortable. It was just a couple of days ago that he was still in that blessed torture bed. Praise God he isn't there now!
Connor I have never prayed for a seventeen year old so constantly. I am praying for good news each day! I have a son Jacob, just shy of 15 and he gets a lot of prayer to stay out of trouble and walk with the Lord, not the world. Please know that people out here have come to love you and your family. I am blessed to know about you so I can pray and be encouraged by you and your family's faith, though I've never met you.
I feel something greater than any of us could imagine is right around the corner!

Keeping the faith,
Krista Lewis

Thank you Dave and Jeff for helping to take care of my family. You, and all the others that are helping and praying, are what I like to call "Everyday Heroes!"
