Day 24 - July 9 - A request from Connor

CheriƩ asked Connor this afternoon if he has been praying. He said "yes", and CheriƩ asked him "We've been telling people what to pray for on the blog, but we haven't asked you. What are your prayer requests? We'll pass them on".

Connor replied "That I can breathe".

We beg you to lift him up to be released from the respirator and able to breathe adequately for himself. Please.

It took enormous strength for Connor to tell us that. It's done. Please let Connor know how precious it is to all of us out here in the blog world to be able to lift up specific requests--this one especially!!

Banging on Heaven's door and keeping the faith,

Great idea! How great to know what Connor desires most! I'm looking forward to God's answer to this prayer!

Let's not let Satan discourage us to believe that God does not have the power to grant this great need sooner than later!

I'll be praying specifically for your breathing Connor, God's timing is perfect!

Trusting in the Lord,
Krista Lewis

Conner,

God breathed into your nostrils 18 years ago the fresh air of life, and He will do that again. Believe it, keep the Faith, and relax now. You are a child of God.

Most heavenly Father, we beseech You to touch Conner and bring fresh air to his lungs, by his own breathing through Your power. And if it be Your will Lord God, we ask You to heal Conner. We ask all these blessings for your child in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen

In His Name,
MT
Virginia

Connor, may Jesus, who struggled for every breath as he hung on the cross to make you His child, comfort and heal you. Phil, Rachael, Emily, Sarah and Kate are all praying for you with tears this evening.

What a simple yet beautiful request, for something so many of us take for granted.
God hear our prayers!
I wish there was something we could do or say to help you all.
But be assured all of our thoughts, tears, love and prayers are focused on all of you every minute of the day!

That is something I can do for you! Consider it done Connor. Lord, give Connor the ability to breathe on his own, without difficulty, hear our prayers dear Jesus. We look forward to the moment when Connor takes his first breath on his own with ease and comfort. Lord, you tell us to ask and you shall receive, we are asking in your Son's name, Jesus to breathe into Connor's lungs tonight Lord, also, heal the infection in his body and strenghten his heart. You Lord are our healer! Give wisdom to the doctors who are treating him and please give the doctors empathy towards the Williamson's. In Jesus' name, Amen.

"Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go before you; He will neither fail you nor abandon you." Deuteronomy 31:8
Connor, The Lord is going before you as your body is recovering. Praying for your breathing to be restored & a good night of rest.

We are following the model of the persistent widow more closely than ever and we will continue to pray and petition God for His mercy, strength, healing and grace. Know that we are on our knees with you.

I think it is interesting that Conner said "God told me" to have a sidearm; and "it's gonna get serious." It reminds me of Paul telling the Ephesians that Truth is a "two-edged sword" - the Roman soldier's sidearm.

This is another battle for which all of us must be ready to separate man's wisdom from God's wisdom (the Truth). While we listen to the doctors & nurses, for we know they have been put there for a reason; we go to our Father for the final Word - the Truth.

Do not fret or lose hope. God is asking you to stay strong. The battle belongs to the Lord.
