Day 24 - July 9 - A request for us
A practical prayer request - for a number of purposes, we are going to try to get our RV down to Fresno and move into it. To do so, we need to find an RV park to put it in. Please don't misunderstand - we have been blessed, blessed, blessed by Gary and Charlaine making their home available to us, and to the many many people who have made us such gracious offers to use or share their homes. We just need to give CheriƩ a bit of "home away from home", and this seems to be a good way to do it, if we can make it happen. We've located a park only 4 or 5 miles from the hospital that will accept long-term RV parking, and we intend to go look at it tomorrow. It seems a bit silly in light of all the other things going on, but we would appreciate your prayers that there would be space available, that the operator would be sympathetic to our situation, and that we would be able to get the tenement on wheels down here to Fresno without any breakdowns.
Time frame remains to be worked out, but it would be a way to give CheriƩ a much-needed personal space while also saving us some money in the lodging department.
So we appreciate you taking a few minutes to lift this rather mundane concern up for us. Thank you.

I just caught up on the postings and Brad's posting at 4 pm.
My prayers are with you.
I thought of the old hymn.
"On Christ the Solid Rock I stand,
all other ground is sinking sand."
May God be your Firm Foundation during these times that feel like shifting sand.
One time my husband and I were 4-wheeling. They had a "Ladies"
hill challenge. I had always been the passenger, but what the heck.
My husband's advice.... "You are going to hear all sorts of loose gravel sound....you are going to feel the tires sliding under you.
Whatever you do........DON'T STOP ...just keep your foot pressed to the pedal." That has been good advice for other challenges in my life. Eric, Cherie, Joelle, Connor, Keep "Looking up" Faith is looking at what is unseen.
"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."
Romans 15:13
Nope, not silly at all...
Ephesians 6:18 (NIV)says:
And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

God Will Make A Way!
Covering you in prayer,
My favoriate scripture, cling to it,we all know it but it's always so good to hear it over and over.
Isa.40: 29-31
He gives power to those who are tired and worn out; He offers strength to the weak Even youths will become exhausted, and young men will give up. but those that wait on the Lord will find new strength. They will fly high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not fain.
Thank you awesome God for your provision thank you that you provide all we need, In Jesus Name, Amen!

Not a mundane request at all - having a place of your own in a time like this is very important! Praying for each and every little detail, and so thankful that God cares about them all.
