Day 21 - July 6 - Pain?
We had the opportunity to attend church for the first time since Connor's accident this morning, and it was a beneficial time of renewal for us while Granny and Uncle Dan watched the boy for us. While we were on the way to the hospital, we got a call from the watchers. Connor has begun complaining to the nurse. That in itself is a pretty noteworthy item, but we think it's significant what he's complaining about. He is telling the nurses that when they move him in a certain position, his back hurts. They have asked him if he means his neck, and he keeps telling them "no, it's my back".
We are pleased to hear this news - pain is feeling. So we are thanking God for this information, while at the same time renewing our efforts in prayer for Connor's complete restoration.
Thank you for your continued prayers. Thank you, Lord, for Your faithfulness to Your children.

Hi,
We have never met, and I won't go through all the details of how Connor's story came to me, but I just want you to know that my whole family (including my husband and four children 10-19 yrs. old) are here in Chicagoland praying for Connor, and checking the blog for updates many, many times each day. Over the past two and a half weeks there have been several times where my husband or one of my children have come home and the first thing they have asked was, "Any news on Connor?" We all feel certain God is going to use this trial for something extraordinary!
When my 19 year old was seven we went through a six month period where it looked like he might become totally blind due to glaucoma. He went through many surgeries, and complication after complication. Today his vision is 20/30 and he is studying to be a paramedic!
Praying many blessings upon your family,
Dede

Praise God for a hint of feeling! Conner, we love you so much although haven't had the opportunity to personally meet. We are still blood and are praying throughout the day and night for your continued healing.
Please lift another child up in prayer. His name is Willie Phelps; just this afternoon was swimming with fellow football players and dove into the deep end and hit his head. He got himself from the pool, walking around, talking to people...a bit later he asked is friend to take him to the hospital to find his neck broken. He has been lifeflighted late this evening. I do not know this family, but know people around him.
Love you all,
Evalena
Just wanted you to know today at church that it was announced that a group of prayer warriors would be meeting tomarrow evening to address any prayer concerns. Needless to say I added Connor to the list. Lets see if we can pray some more feeling into this boy!

Williamson Family,
You are loved and prayed for. Even today in Church we lifted you up. Mike reminded us of Job, and how his friends were silent....it was when they opened their mouths that all went wrong. Even when we are silent we are with you in prayer! We know it is hard to see the good in all. We all are here waiting for that "letter" from God letting us know what the future holds. It is not till Heaven, then ALL will be shown to us. We will continue to pray and wait with you. You are loved and lifted by many in prayer...daily/hourly!
You are loved by many, admired and lifted in prayer by thousands. May you feel our prayers and love in the silence.
Love from M.H.
Hi Family,
Lifting you up in prayer daily. At church today, just in one service, we prayed for Conner and you all three times. Corporate prayer!!! Love you all. Miss you all.

I'm leaving for the Philippines in an hour, and am writing from SFO airport. This is indeed good news, for as you said, back ache is FEELING; and this is what we are all praying for-that Connor's spinal cord will heal and his feeling will return; and we are hoping this is the first fruits.
We continue to pray that he who is able to do abundantly more than we can ask or imagine will bless Connor over and above what we ask.
Raquel and I will continue to pray for Connor from Manila, and will be checking the blog too. Keep faith.
I am so glad that you were able to attend service. I was tossing and turning all night, thinking of you and Connor and wondered what you were doing to be able to feed your soul.
And so glad Connor is in pain, that is the ONLY time I think any parent would wish pain on their child. I pray that the pain is one that shows Connor, you will get through this.
As always,
Michawn
When they're born, and they cry, they cry because they're in discomfort....but hearing that cry makes everyone in the delivery room smile...because we know that the crying/complaining is normal, and the beginnings of a new life...as I sit here and read of Connor's complaint of pain..I'm smiling for the same reason, and praying it's the beginnings of a new life...one changed by events, and renewed by the evidence of God in all our lives as result of such incredible faith..
with love and prayer,
JD+1
