Day 7 - June 22 - A Shouting God

Karen, the kids and I had dinner last evening at a friend's house here in Virginia. Their dear family has been praying for Connor this week and Heather had come across this quote. I thought it was worth passing on...

"God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our conscience, but shouts in our pains.  It is his megaphone to rouse a deaf world."
- C.S. Lewis, The Problem of Pain

Are we listening?

Dear Eric, Cherie, and Joelle,

God does speak to us in many ways. This morning as we sang hymns and praise songs in church, He reminded me of many truths from His Word - "amazing grace (Lord, give the Williamsons grace for one more day.), "has ransomed me" (Father, thank you for ransoming Connor.), "frail children of dust" (We are so weak and need You so much.), "all the saints adore Thee" (Your character has not changed.), "exalt, lift up on high" (As the Body in the waiting room of ICU), "it is well" (This will be OK because God is good and does good things.) "and we cry 'holy, holy, holy is the Lamb."
Amen.

Thinking of ya'll,
Nancy in TX

Dear Williamson Family,

We are continuous prayer for your son and all of you. We can't imagine what you are going through, but we know that God's grace is sufficent. How wonderful is that?! Your witness to others in the hospital is ultimately to give God the glory! We will continue to pray for rest, comfort and healing to all especially Connor.

In Christ's Healing Power,
Tracey for the Kupfers from WHCC

Dear Williamson's,
You do not know me but I am a member at Riverpark Bible Church and live in Clovis. I am also a former employee at CRMC and worked for about five years in and out of the Emergency Room there. I would like to offer support in the matter of transportation, provision of food, anything that might be of help. You can contact me at this email, GRMMYZ@comcast.net for the next three weeks after which we will be gone for about a month. I will continue to monitor the blog and pray as you request.
God bless you,
Leslie J

I awake every morning praying for that special entry on the blog stating that there was a vast improovment in Conners condition, it was not there today but I beleive in all my heart that the monster chisle will be traded for the smaller one then a rotory file then some sand paper. God is amzing in the way he works and Cindy and I anxiously await and covet the day when he pulls out his polish.
Love
Joey and Cindy
